Mangalore: Campco Signs Agreement to Produce ‘Nandini’ Brand Chocolates

Mangalore, Jan 14: Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketting and Processing Cooperative Ltd (Campco), a leading name in state’s cooperative sector, has entered into an agreement with Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), another giant in the sector, for manufacturing ‘Nandini’ brand of chocolates for the latter. The agreement in this connection was signed by KMF chairman, Somashekhar Reddy, and Camcpo chairman, Konkody Padmanabha, in the presence of state Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa.

In a release, Camcpo said that it will make optimum use of its enhanced production capacity for executing this agreement. As per this agreement, various chocolate products of Campco will be available for sale in Nandini outlets, and that the two cooperative behemoths together will be able to bring out better products for the people. Campco also expects that the brand image of cooperative sector will improve with this union, and that the understanding between Campco and KMF will give rise to a new movement in cooperative sector.
