Bantwal: 45-year-old police official battling illness passes away

Bantwal, Mar 9: A police official who was suffering illness breathed his last on Wednesday March 9.

The deceased is identified as Ganesh Naik (45) from Yenmakaje village of Saradka. He was suffering from illness from the last few days and was admitted to the government hospital in Vittal.

Ganesh Naik had earlier served in Surathkal, Beltangady, and Vittal police stations. Recently he was transferred to Sampya rural police station in Puttur.

Ganesh Naik is survived by wife who is working in railway police and a son.
