Mangaluru, Mar 11: The Mangaluru Unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated the victory of the party in Punjab elections, in Mallikatte on Friday, March 11.
Speaking on the occasion, district convener of AAP Rajendra Kumar said, "The people of Punjab have voted the party for the power. They have voted for the right and educated party after seeing its good governance in Delhi. Due to the bad administration of the other parties in city, the law and order situation has deteriorated here."
He also added that to bring about a change in the city and for good administration, people should join hands with AAP . "AAP is an alternative for all other political parties, hence people should contemplate on whom to vote for. People voted for the party in Punjab after witnessing the good administration and development."
"Usually, people have a perception that politics is bad. But, AAP is an educated, well-cultured party and there are no criminals in the party. So, the people should join the party and vote AAP to power and root out the corruption and stop the wastage of taxpayers' money. There is a need to bring about a change in Indian politics," he added.
AAP volunteer Arwin Mascarenhas said, " The workers in the AAP are well-educated people who are ready to give good administration. In the present political scenario, AAP is the only alternative in Karnataka and Mangaluru. People voting this party to power is necessary. Youth should come forward to join the party."
AAP Women's wing leader Bennet Navita Moras said, " In AAP there are people from different religions and there is no discrimination in the party. We should bring a political change in society. Lakhs of people should join the party for change," she said.
