Kundapur: Unique smart classroom in modified KSRTC bus inaugurated

Kundapur, Feb 12: A unique smart classroom was inaugurated by the government higher primary school Noojadi, Bagwadi in a KSRTC bus here on Saturday March 12.

MLA B M Sukumar Shetty who inaugurated the class said that basic facilities are being provided in the rural schools. “The country can change only when even the last child in the society gets educated. Students who study in hardship reach high positions in their career. No child should be deprived of education.

“Students will benefit as KSRTC runs their buses on rural roads. Officials should make sure that the buses run in villages where there is demand. They should have a service mentality instead of being only profit minded considering the student’s future. Students will gherao Kundapur KSRTC depot if KSRTC does not run their buses in the rural area from next academic year,” he said.

Former MLA K Gopala Poojary, Haklady gram panchayat president Chetan Kumar, KSRTC Mangaluru division head Kamal Kumar, Byndoor zonal education officer G M Mundinamani, Haklady gram panchayat member Ashok Poojary, Sharada Mogaveera, retired director of the government of India finance and statistics directorate B N Shetty, Hindu priests Nagappayya Bhat Bailur, KSRTC depot manager Rajesh, SDMC coordination committee district president Abdul Salam Bagwadi, Mahishamardini Yuvaka Mandala president Prakash Acharya, SDMC president Manjunath Putran, School alumni association president B Rajiv Shetty and student council leader Prajna were present.

Miniature bus creator Prashanth Acharya was felicitated. School headmistress Shailaja V Shetty welcomed and gave an introductory address. Vasanthraj Shetty compered the programme.

    What a fate has come to our state. We kept hopes that atleast this Government will provide good smart classroom, No , they failed. They worried till now to double their salary and perks. If the situation is like this, in future Government may say to wear the same uniform dress if it has torn, by putting patches to to the torn uniform.

    Jossey S.Raheja Waterfront ,we didnt have street lights that time had to study with chimney (Kerosine oil lamp).But somehow succeded.Not a problem.
