Ajman, Jan 18: Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council, UAE and ruler of Ajman will award degree certificates to 66 Gulf Medical University graduates during the seventh convocation to be held on Sunday January 23 at 06.30 pm at Al Zawraa Ball Room, Ajman Kempinski Hotel and Resort, Ajman.
The grand ceremony will also be graced by eminent personalities like Sheikh Dr Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, chairman, ruler’s court, Ajman, Dr Hanif Hassan, minister of health, UAE, and B Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen, chairman, BA Group, India as the guest of honour.
Thumbay Moideen, founder president of Gulf Medical University will preside over the ceremony in the presence of the provost Prof Gita Ashok Raj and other important guests and officials of Gulf Medical University.
As many as 38 graduates from MBBS stream comprising 15 male and 23 female graduates, 11 graduates of BPT comprising 1 male and 10 female graduates, 17 from Graduate Diploma Health Profession Education comprising 4 male and 13 female graduates will receive their degree certificates during the course of this high profile ceremony.
Out of a total number of 49 graduates from MBBS and BPT streams receiving their degree certificates, 11 graduates are UAE nationals, 1 from GCC countries, 3 from other Arab countries and 34 are from other parts of the world. The graduation certificates of Gulf Medical University will be attested by the ministry of higher education and scientific research, UAE, widely recognized and accepted throughout the world.
