Tulu Koota Kuwait Celebrates National Day in unique way

Kuwait City, Mar 15: Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) is one of the largest and prominent Indian association in Kuwait organized a Garden Cleaning program on Friday, February 25, at Farwaniya Garden, Kuwait.

For the past 22 years, Tulu Koota Kuwait has been actively engaging itself in various welfare activities to benefit the society in Tulunadu and Kuwait. TKK started a campaign to motivate the people to keep their surrounding environment clean by initiating a garden cleaning event. This time the garden cleaning awareness event was conducted to mark the celebration of the 61st Kuwait National Day.

This noble task was kicked off well on time at 6:30 AM and around 60 TKK committee members with their spouses and children participated wholeheartedly in this social event. Though it was chilly weather in the early morning, the enthusiasm and dedication of the committee members who had gathered for this programme were commendable.
The enthusiastic and energetic ex-president of TKK, Harish Bhandary coordinated the whole event. The committee members dedicated their time and put their best efforts into cleaning the garden and contributed to the success of the event.

The young and dynamic president of TKK Sanat Kumar Shetty briefed the importance of this programme about how we can serve the karma Bhoomi with our charity works which is very much needed to keep clean our mother nature. He mentioned special thanks to advisors, management, and all committee members for their contribution and support.

A delicious breakfast was served by Sangeetha Restaurant. A couple of fun games were conducted by sports secretary Lional Mascarenhas which participated and enjoyed by all the participants.

The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Koota’s general secretary Roshan Quadras. In his gratitude message, he thanked event sponsors - Al Mulla Exchange Kuwait, Badr Al Samaa Medical Center, TVS Hyder Group, Khain Properties, FK Jewellers, and Oriental International General Trading and Contracting Co.

He also thanked Harish Bhandary for his follow-up and coordination in organizing the garden cleaning programme, advisors, Sathish Chandra Shetty, Tharendra P Shettigar, and Wilson Dsouza for their presence and encouragement Abdul Razak for sponsoring and arranging the breakfast, Wilson and Reshma Dsouza for sponsoring Cupcakes and Juices, Chandrahas Shetty for arranging the cleaning materials and to all enthusiastic committee members, family members and children who came in large numbers and participated in this cleaning drive and made the event a grand success.
