Mangaluru, Mar 23: Srinivas University (SU) Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC) Pandeshwar Mangaluru under the patronage of the chancellor Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao and pro-chancellor Dr A Srinivas Rao conducts series of Professional Management Development Training Programmes (MDP) for executives of Industry and staffs of companies across India. The corporate training event series under directorship of professor Venkatesh Amin, is also proctored by SU vice-chancellor Dr P S Aithal, pro-VC Dr S S Kumar as well as registrars Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Ajay Kumar and IMC dean professor Keerthan Raj co-ordinated by training and placement officer professor Varun Shenoy.

For this year, the first in the series began on January 29 on theme 'Strategic Leadership' for middle level managers of MSME sector as well as large corporate entities around Mangaluru region. The second MDP Training was held on February 19 for all the colleges and university training and placement officers of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Region under the theme 'Placements at Challenging Times'. The third training program was held on March 12 under theme 'Strategic Leadership II – Transformation' for technical cadre and managerial levels of organizations.

These popular training event series of SU IMC through innovative pedagogic training involving ice-breakers, case studies, presentations, strategy games, group activities, team assignments, role plays, and simulations, provides much needed professional empowerment for company employees to refresh themselves and contribute better at workplace or at their own businesses.
