Abu Dhabi, Jan 26 (IANS/WAM) A delegation led by former Indian president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and another team led by Vayalar Ravi, minister for overseas Indian affairs and civil aviation, are currently on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to boost bilateral relations between the two nations.
Kalam was received in Ajman, near Dubai, by its ruler, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi.
The two leaders discussed a number of issues in the fields of education, health, investment, trade and economy.
Kalam lauded the progress being made by the UAE and Ajman, a statement said.
Meanwhile, UAE Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash met Ravi in Abu Dhabi Tuesday and discussed a number of issues, including cooperation in the labour market and exchange of expertise in labour market management.
