Mangaluru: DC meets officials regarding preparations for SSLC exams

Mangaluru, March 27: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Rajendra KV on Sunday, March 27 held a meeting with the officials regarding the final preparation for the SSLC examinations in the district.

He took information about the preparation at all 99 examination centers.

As per the order issued by the government on March 25, the DC had directed the tahsildars, block education officers and chiefs of examination centers that students should not face any uncomfortable situation while writing the exam.

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 will be clamped around 200 meters of the examination centers. The entry of the general public is being restricted, except the officers/staff and the students appearing for the examination. It has been directed to the heads of examination centers to display the drinking water, toilet and seating facilities in appropriate places. All officials/staff should take measures so that no student will face problems while writing the exams.

He also directed the officials to arrange vehicles for the students arriving from Kerala as there is harthal in Kerala on March 28 and 29.

The deputy director informed that two vehicles will be arranged from the Talapady border.

DC also directed the officials to perform the examination duty with responsibility and without any mistakes.

Zilla Panchayath CEO Dr Kumar stated that all the officials from different cadres should cooperate to conduct it very easily. He also said officials should take measures to create a good environment so that each student may come to the examination center without any fear or confusion.
