In my younger days. I do recollect my fellow GYM members eating Beef from various hotels to maintain their body structure. This was about 30 years back, irrespective of their cast or community. SAD to know about the current state of affairs'!!!

Non of the BJP officials and also so called protectors of cows speak about the beef export. This shows their love towards cows or cattle. This kind of crooked people are not to be elected. But our people think about their religious agenda and not beef export.

Hahaha.. the thief chose Sunday to ensure that when he came to steal everyone was home (as this was a holiday). Imagine his disappointment when he found no anyone home, he got so frustrated that he had to leave his business card behind to make sure everyone knew who had taken the cow.

Stray cattle have become a menace in many places where they feed on garbage including plastic; a herd of stray cattle, in Goa, were found habituated to eating nonveg food, refusing to eat veg food. All these issues are not being seen by the irrational blind bhaktas! These same people surreptitiously sell the useless cattle for meat!

There is no problem when India stood top in the list of beef exports. But when common man does the same for the living, its illegal. What kind of law is this?

Swami Vivekananda said to Bhakts " show them more nutritious and affordable food, they will eat it".... Over glorifying any animal is not correct... I am against theft of cows as one would steal the livelihood from normally poor household... But forcing ideology on other beef eating communities is wrong... When you can export beef why not allow legal sale in one of the biggest consumer markets in the world???... Have separate markets far away from other general markets so that sentiments of cow worshipers are not hurt...

For your knowledge what is exported is called carobeef, it is buffalo meat not cow meat. All bovines are not protected by law and all are not considered sacred by Hindus Stealing someone 's livelihood is wrong, by giving justification and protecting these thieves . .. You are encouraging them to commit more robbery and you are party to it. The cow protection ordinance is in act since independence . . . It is not a new development, it has come to forefront because of these stealing of cow. Earlier the old animals were given to slaughter houses and there were no issues. When stealing of cows stop all these issues related to cow protection will stop . . .

@ Ash, Mangalore. What a joke? I buy Indian Veal meat which is easily available in any of the supermarkets across the gulf. Just to enlighten you. India exports beef to more than 50 countries. Arabian Exports Pvt.Ltd. - Sunil Kapoor M.K.R Frozen Food Exports Pvt. Ltd. - Mr. Madan Abott. P.M.L Industries Pvt. Ltd. - A.S Bindra Al Kabeer - Atul

You guys should do some basic research before you make statement . . If you just Google what kind of beef is exported from India you will get it. All these companies you mentioned export carobeef and it can be called Beef in the market, but it is not Indian scared view (Bos indicus), but it of buffalo origin. Young buffalo slaughtered is also called veal. The problem is since you are biased, you will always be blind to the facts . . You just wave to believe what you want to believe

The same mutton could be sold in gulf is also called indian mutton. But it could have been from sheep or goat . . But we still call it mutton. Cow or buffalo it is still called Beef. Get the point
