Bengaluru: Congress to maintain distance from Siddaramaiah's statement

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 28: It is gathered that the leadership of the Congress has conveyed to the party leaders and activists to maintain a discreet distance from the statement made by Siddaramaiah about the Swamijis wearing clothes on their heads.

There is information that this has made Siddaramaiah disturbed. When speaking about the Hijabs, Siddaramaiah had made a comparison to the clothes worn by the Swamijis on their heads to justify the Hijabs. But he received a backlash from various quarters including the Swamijis. BJP leaders made good use of this opportunity to criticize Siddaramaiah.

When the media had sought reaction to this statement from Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar, he had asked the scribes to pose this question to Siddaramaiah himself. Upset Siddaramaiah is said to have revealed about the fact that he feels let down, to his close ones.

As soon as Siddaramaiah made the above statement, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee had taken steps to advise its spokespersons to stay away from panel discussions in the news channels on this issue. Internally it was conveyed that no one should support the statement of the former chief minister, party sources said. Even the clarifications given by former KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and deputy leader of the opposition, U T Khader, were in the form of explanation rather than justification.

With AAP and SDPI vying for the spot, Congress cannot just rely on distancing from multiple statements from the illiterates accommodated to concentrate power in 10 Janpath. They will have to take clear stand - which they will never be able to with the strong leadership out of 10 Janpath who are on "disband and put all assets for sale to the highest bidder whilst excluding everyone other than Gandhi family to profit from the spoils" mode. It is a conundrum. All BJP haters will now have to look up to Kejriwal, SDPI and Mamata Banerjee. One thing common between all is they condone violence against Hindus and even justify it with arguments based on their selective understanding of Indian constitution.

Siddu of Punjab and Siddu of Karnataka both came to Congress from other parties with only one agenda- to destroy congress from within. Tipu jayanti celebration was one example of Siddu doing intentional harm to Congress.

Congress will never learn, even after the recent 5-0 wash out. For 2023 campaign, AAP has started its registration process in Ktaka , Leaders to be announced in April 1st week. Modi , Shah will be in Bengaluru on April 4th for 2023 campaign kick off. SDPI has already started door to door work. But Congress at the high command , is deciding who has to resign? G23 is saying contradicting themselves. In Ktaka Siddu is digging the partys grave deeper by making nonsense statements, DKS thinks that in the last week before elections he can turn around by conducting press conferences. Come on Yaar!!!

While it may not be relevant to todays issue directly --MR SIDDU's statement -- right o r- wrong --- The whole issue goes back to the 80 's - Shah Bano case -- Congress waivering - Bringing in laws -- for a mere pittance of maintenance -- buckling -- Thereafter -- Opening locks of temple -- -- First muslim appeasement - Then Hindu appeasement -- then -- MANDAL politics -- MANDIR politics -- not acting when needed - on AYODHYA -- -- STRATEGY OF TRYING TO PLEASE ALL-- ENDING PLEASING NONE -- Now HIJAB etc are new issues -- Tipu -- for vote bank politics-- No vision on economy-- ALL THAT WAS REQUIRED WAS FOLLOW CONSTITUTIONAL GUIDELINES -- unfortunately BJP following same path now -- Public harmony disturbed--

Mere apology is not enough. He should take a vow not to open his mouth, because you don't know what will come out of it. He is just tired, and should go into retirement.

We have to respect all religion. The turban of Sikhs, and peta of Swamiji and moulavi and Hijab of one community because hijab is stated in Holy Quran. And christian father also wearing their religious dress. So I think country's Hon'ble Supreme court will allow all religion to wear their religious dress even it allows kesari shawl to majority community there is no any wrong as per my openion. These all rights given by Baba Saheb Ambedkar Savindan as well as Holy Quran and Holy Geeta and Holy Bible.

Of course supreme court and constitution allows all religious leaders to wear their respective dresses. But students are required to wear the prescribed uniforms as long as they study in the institution. And this Siddu compared school and college going students with swamis. He had cunningly linked school uniforms with costumes of religious heads. How dare he and what kind of appeasement is this?

Honestly it is time for Congress to maintain distance from Siddharamaiha. Think one has to be senile and bent upon committing political suicide by issuing such statements.

As our Poojaryji rightly said, this Sidda is a shani to congress party. Having said that it doesn't mean that DKsi is the only alternate. There are able leaders like George, Kharge who can bring good to this state.
