Udupi: Fire Accident – House in Muloor Gutted

Udupi, Jan 28: After a house in Muloor village located next to Sunni Centre near Kaup, owned by Abbu Mohammed, caught fire accidentally on Thursday January 27, the house was reduced to ashes. Things inside the house, value of which runs into lacs of rupees, were also gutted in the fire.

No one was present in the house, when the fire engulfed the house all of a sudden, at around 6 pm. Electric short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.

Fire brigade from the town rushed to the spot, immediately after receiving information. The fire personnel, with the help of locals, extinguished the fire thereafter.
