Mangaluru, Apr 7: A valedictory programme was arranged for the students of Grade X batch of 2021-22 on 1st April. The students of grade X were given a grand welcome by grade IX students by escorting them to the venue. The Programme began with a thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration by Father Rudolph Raj Pinto OCD who was the main celebrant and delivered an important message to the students to thank God for the wisdom because it’s a gift of God. Learning is wisdom and it symbolises purity. Special blessings were given to each student for their future endeavours. A melodious choir was performed by students of grade IX and X.
The programme continued with grade IX students putting up a mesmerising programme to their seniors. A meaningful prayer service followed by prayer dance, a Mime show, a motivational skit, a fabulous dance and a special performance of the Cup song.
The head girl Shannel Rodrigues shared her memories and thanked each one for making their journey memorable one. Followed by Shainel and Disha Chetty too shared their memories and expressed their gratitude towards the school. As a token of love the grade X students contributed their share for the upliftment of the school.
The dignitaries Sr Edna Furtado AC the school administrator in her speech wished every student for their future and carry the values taught in school. The school principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC too gave an inspirational speech by showing a motivation video ‘The Race called life’. and 5 mantras for life to be repeated every day I am the best, I can do it, God is always with me, I am a winner and today is my day. She wished the students the best future. Each student with a given a memento as a token of love and gratitude.
It was a well-co-ordinated programme with Afra Fathima welcoming the audience, programme compered by Dayle Pinto with sharing of good words by Rachael Pais to the seniors and the vote of thanks by Dwithi Shetty. Not to miss a mesmerising and creative backdrop which brings in the hard efforts of teachers Nayana, Monisha and Sumitra and also for their entire arrangement of the programme. A fellowship meal was arranged thanking everyone for their whole hearted participation and support constantly.
The management congratulated each student for being a part of this institution and wishes them good luck for their future.
