Mangaluru: Scouts and Guides camp held at St Joseph The Worker school

Mangaluru Apr 8: Correspondent of school Fr Joseph D Souza inaugurated 7 days scouts and guides summer camp on March 31 at St Joseph the worker higher primary school,  Vamanjoor.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Joseph D'Souza said, "The activities of scouts and guides will improve the discipline and values of students. This will be a platform for students to involve themselves in the activities as students have already stayed away from the activities due to the pandemic."

  

Convenor of women and child development department Deekshith Achrapady, district guides leader trainer Sufala B, alumnus senior guide Prinicia D'Souza were the resource persons.

School headmistress Sr Quinny Fernandes, guide captain Sr Philomena, flock leader Assumptha D'Souza, Cub captain Janet Lobo organised the summer camp.

Tiruvail cluster resource person Pushpavathi, Roshan Menezes, Tulunad Lions social work Ronald Pinto, school development authority member Shalma Juliet D'Souza, SDMC vice president Sunitha Noronha and others were present.
