Mangaluru, Apr 11: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, D K Shivakumar on Monday, April 11 said the politics of polarisation will perish soon in Karnataka state.

Speaking to daijiworld.com at the Mangaluru International Airport here over rising incidents of violence amidst rising politics of polarisation, he said everything will die by itself. “If common man's livelihood is affected and pain is caused to people, nothing will remain permanent,” he said.

Referring indirectly to the rising communal divide in the state without naming the ruling BJP government in the state, Shivakumar said nothing will remain permanent while reiterating that politics of polarisation will die soon.

To a query on why the Congress was not protesting against the rising prices of fuel and other essential commodities, the KPCC chief said,” Congress is holding protests and even today we staged a protest against the same." However, he made it clear that the Congress party will fight much more vigourously against these issues daily in the coming days.

Shivakumar was on a visit here to take part in Shri Kshetra Uchila Shri Mahalakshmi Temple's punarprathishte, bramhakalashostava, punyostava, rathostava and nagamandalostava.

Earlier, he was accorded a welcome by the Congress party workers.

District Congress Committee (DCC) president Harish Kumar, MLA UT Khader, former minister B Ramanath Rai, Congress leader Mithun Rai, former MLAs Mohiuddin Bawa, Abayachandra Jain, former MLC Ivan D'Souza, former mayor Shashidar Hegde, corporator Praveen Chandra Alva, Congress leaders Kripa Amar Alva, PV Mohan and others were present.

I think late entrant to the political arena, Arvind Kejriwal knows how deal rightly in the present situation though he doesn't have strong base. He is the true messiah, future leader, who professes servant leadership. He provides to the needy, money saved from corruption, extra spent on projects and curtails extra expenses of his own MLA's and Ministers. He professes simple living of peoples representatives.

Our woes will never end as long as corruption (be it financial or moral) persists and continues to grow... At times we are horse eyed by brain washes, at times we seek to be horse eyed by personal choice... Cheap politicians will prevail so long as we continue to patronise narrow minded ideologies and over protective philosophies.... Real progress and overall development has never been the main agenda of majority voters...
