Mangaluru: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School holds Seminar on Specific Learning Disability

Media Release

Mangaluru, Apr 13: The seminar was held in the Ladyhill English Higher Primary School hall on April 11. This seminar was hosted for Ladyhill Preparatory School and English Primary School teachers.

The goal of this seminar was to improve teachers' understanding and recognition of specific learning disabilities, their causes, and the necessary support strategies needed to ensure that students with SLD receive the best education possible, are able to access the curriculum, and are inclusive so that they can reach their full potential.

Dr Shwetha Kamath was the seminar's resource person. The seminar has assisted teachers in gaining knowledge and understanding of such students, as well as being empathetic toward them so that they, too, can achieve their goals.
