Ballari: Hubballi violence – Union minister Shobha urges to arrest hooligans under terrorism act

Ballari, Apr 18: “Culprits have attacked police stations, hospitals and vehicles citing posting of old video on social media. State government should slap Goonda act and terrorism act on them,” said union minister Shobha Karandlaje.

Speaking to reporters in the city, Shobha said, “Any power that distracts peace in society should not be tolerated. People are scaring police personnel. Incident of Hubballi was trivial. The culprits could have urged the police to arrest the person who posted the video on social media. The state government is ready for that. But the government will not tolerate any act that challenges the system.”

Shobha asked to arrest the offenders immediately and give them stringent punishment.
