Mangaluru: Srinivas University set to host Annual Food Fest

Mangaluru, Apr 29: Srinivas University, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru will be organizing its 30th year Annual Food Festival HOG-2K22 on April 30 at 6.00p.m. The Food Festival 'HOG' is an annual event in the Institute calendar. The food festival started in the year 1992 to expose the students to the intricacies of event management. It is also an attempt to integrate the society with the activities of the Institute. The students are expected to generate a business model and execute the model. They generate the funds, manage the production, finance and marketing functions of the event.

This year, the food festival has special features like - Live Food Counters, Vegetable and Fruit Carving, Mocktail Counter, Musical Extravaganza

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru and president A Shama Rao Foundation will preside over the function. Peter Nirmal, general manager, Taj Gateway Hotel, Mangaluru will be chief guest and inaugurator of this function.

The guests of honour will be Dr A Srinivas Rao, honorable pro-chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru and vice president, A Shama Rao Foundation, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao trustee-member, board of governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, Prof Er A Mitra S. Rao trustee-member, board of governors, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru and Dr Satya Sai Kumar, pro-vice chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru. Dr Anil Kumar, registrar, Dr Srinivasa Mayya D, registrar evaluation, Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (Development), Aditya Kumar Mayya (Academics & Development) Srinivas University, deans and staff of all the Institutions will be present for the event.
