Bengaluru, Apr 29: The Government of Karnataka has ordered for a re-examination of PSI recruitment, the scam of which has given a big jolt to the ruling BJP government.

Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said, “Re-examination will be held for those who have written the examination earlier except the accused candidates. The candidates should forget that the post is on sale for money. Stringent action will be taken against the offenders. This has taken place in Bengaluru also. Examination centres will be changed and made transparent and exams will be conducted strictly.

“Police are bringing the main accused Divya Hagaragi from Poona after arresting her on the midnight of Thursday. She dampened the life of candidates who had prepared with so much of hardwork for the examination. The government has taken this scam as a challenge. No one will interfere. Discussion is being held as to how to hold these examinations in future. We will not meddle. Those who have done wrong will be punished severely,” he said.
