Banda (UP), May 2 (IANS): State Minister Girish Chandra Yadav was allegedly bitten by a rat during his stay at the Circuit House in Banda.

The minister suspected that he had been bitten by a snake and was admitted to a hospital. Since there is a dense forest around the circuit house, the minister felt he had been bitten by a snake.
