Mangaluru: Devotees offer Namaz, celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with devotion

Mangaluru, Jun 5: Muslim brethren living in coastal districts of Karnataka celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday, May 3 with devotion and sense of gratefulness towards the Almighty.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which fasting is observed during the day. Huge crowds were seen gathered at all mosques in the coastal districts in the morning for offering special Eid prayers.

Eid prayers were held at Idgah Masjid, Bavutagudde.

Eid Namaz and Khutbah was also held at Eidgah ground, Kudroli. Eid Khutbah was delivered by Moulavi Ahmed Ali Kasimi. Thousands of people participated in Eid prayer. Ladies also participated in the prayers.
