50,000 acres of land acquired in State for immediate allotment to industries

Bengaluru, May 7: With a view to immediately allot land for new industries being set up in the State, as much as 50,000 acres of land has acquired in different parts of Karnataka, Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani said on Saturday.

Speaking at a function after launching the curtain raiser for the Indian Production Exhibition in Bengaluru, he said the State Government is fully geared to meet the requirements of entrepreneurs coming forward to establish industrial ventures in Karnataka.

The State Government is making all arrangements for hosting the Global Investors Meet in Bengaluru from November 2 to 5, he said new industrial ventures will enable more employment opportunities for the youth.

Nirani said the government is implementing the Union Government’s one production policy for each district under the Atma Nirbhar programme in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Providing land and other basic infra-structure facilities like water, power and good roads were part of the policy framework besides subsidy for new small and medium ventures, he said.

Union Minister of State for Small and Medium Industries Narayan Rane, Ace Manufacturing Systems Managing Director P Ramdas, Sasmos HET Technologies Ltd. founder HG Chandrashekar and others were present.

    This is just another 15lakhs remember,real idea is land acqusition poor people has to give their ancestoral property to fill the pockets of curropt , no problem mujhe kya attitude is our motto. We are happy to watch himdu muslim whatsaap propoganda and enjoy!

    Real estate racket .. Acquiring land .. compensation etc etc .. One has to understand the game ... Many start to utilise bank loans ..etc etc .. Many existing industrial estates have yet to utilise all allotted land .. One can drive thru Industrial estates and judge .. ..

    Create jobs and many youths will lead a quality and dignified life. Factories like processing tomato, jacjfruit, mangoes etc byproducts can be bread for for many families. We need to see example of Thailand. Processing in various type of preserved food. It can be good earning for many cultivating families.
