Vijayapura: 'Rs 2500 crore for CM post' statement twisted by media – BJP MLA Yatnal

Daijiworld Media Network – Vijayapura (MS)

Vijayapura, May 8: After the statement of Delhi gang demanding Rs 2500 crore for CM post by controversial BJP MLA Basanagowda Patil Yatnal went viral all over the state and opposition parties demanded a probe, Yatnal has claimed that his statement has been twisted by the media.

Speaking to media on Saturday, Yatnal clarified, “I only said that there is a gang in New Delhi which says that it can make any MLA chief minister if Rs 2500 crore is given to it. I never mentioned that the gang comprises BJP top brass. The media has twisted my statement."

“I had given the said statement in Ramadurga in a general way and did not mention the name of any political party. I said that there are middlemen of this kind and they do not belong to any party. However, certain electronic media channels twisted my statement and telecast the same," he clarified.

“Those who ask money for power and position are not politicians at all. There is no scope for corruption till leaders like PM Modi are there. The top brass of BJP has appointed CM Basavraj Bommai in a transparent manner. Media should telecast the reality. In future, I will share the statement that I gave and what media has telecast on social media,” Yatnal said.

Meanwhile, former CM and leader of opposition Siddaramaiah has urged for a thorough investigation into the allegation made by Yatnal and also questioned how much money did CM Bommai and former CM Yediyurappa offer to BJP high command.

“Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles. A day would come when even air and water would be taxed in India.” This is what Sir Winston Churchill predicted 75 years before which has been proved now by every word.

I fully believe in every word that Yatnal says. When he says that the Central gang is demanding Rs.2,500 crores for the alottment of CM's post, I believe he is telling the truth. And when he says that it is not so, I still believe in him, because all these are very honest men. They never lie, they never sigh, they never die. May their tribe increase.

"There is no scope for corruption till leaders like PM Modi are there." These are Yatnal's words. Corruption has reached the highest level under Modi. Na khaoonga aur na khaane doonga were words just to hoodwink the public. A totally dongi statement just to get votes.
