Udupi, May 9: The skeletal remains of a youth who went missing nine months ago were found at Hiriyadka in the district.

The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj (30), son of Manjunatha Achari, and was a resident of Perdoor Pakkalu.

Nagaraj went missing in August 2021. A missing case was filed in Hiriyadka police station. Though police and other locals searched for him everywhere, he could not be traced.

On May 7, skull, bones and a black colour pant along with two empty plastic bottles were found in the barren land belonging to Keshava Hegde of Chaundi Nagar.

When Nagaraj’s family members were informed, they confirmed by the colour of pant that it was indeed that of missing Nagaraj.

It was suspected that Nagaraj must have killed himself by drinking poison from the plastic bottle that was found on the spot or by hanging himself. It is said that he must have killed himself due to a loan issue or some other issue.

Hiriyadka police are investigating.

People who commit suicide think that they are ending the pain. But actually, what they are doing is passing on the pain to whom they leave behind.

Suicides have become common. The common man is unable to bear the expenses and live a simple decent life. Jobs have dried up. Doing business is not profitable as there is cut throat competition. plus taxes, bribes and cheating. Governments will give 5 kg rice and false assurances. Rupee has lost it's value. Sri Lanka in the making.

Drinking poison is ok to some extent (Bottles must be investigated) but hanging without finding any clues is just fooling people.
