Thiruvananthapuram, May 10 (IANS): The body of the wife of a Kerala policeman was found hanging at their official quarters at Alappuzha while their 5-year-old son was found strangulated and 18-month-old daughter was found drowned in a bucket of water.
A case of unnatural death has been registered by the local police. It is suspected that the wife, 28-year-old Anejila, hanged herself after killing both the children.
Frequent quarrels at the home of the police officer, Renis, is said to be the reason behind this drastic step.
There had been domestic issues in the family recently that required the intervention of senior police officials.
Renis has been taken into custody for questioning.
