Dubai : Udenthichim Neketram-Family Day out

Dubai, Feb 22: Moodabidri  Varado Catholic Association ,Udenthichim Neketram  organized its Annual Family day out at Zabeel Park on February 18,2011. The day began with prayer from Melwin Cardoza. Ullas Fernandes , the President of the Association welcomed the gathering. Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight Shipping and Joe Pereira Shirthady inaugurated the picnic and delivered their inaugural speech.







































 

Four groups were formed and were named as Tejjubai, Bijju Bai, Salam and Cilam Family. Several  games were conducted for children and adults  with the main attraction of the day being Kabbadi and Tug of war.
Delicious lunch , evening tea & snacks were served by Al Shay Restaurant.

The fun filled event came to an end at 6.30pm with prize distribution to the winners of several individual, couple & group games. Tejjubaiyachem Kutaum won the overall group competition & Salamachem kutum were runner up.

The entire day programs were conducted by Richard Saldanha & Ullas Fernandes.
