Mangaluru: Karnataka Bank’s relocated branch inaugurated at Bunder

Mangaluru May 16: Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar inaugurated Karnataka Bank’s relocated branch at Bunder on Monday May 16.

Associate professor of Cardiology KMC Mangaluru, Dr D Narasimha Pai inaugurated the mini E-lobby.

Speaking on the occasion, Shashi Kumar said, “The branch at Bunder opened in 1974 and has been providing service to people here since several years. The bank has excelled under Mahabaleshwara M S and has gained respect from people.”

Narasimha Pai said, “The bank has grown in terms of financial perspective. In the year 2023, the bank will complete its centenary year. Dakshina Kannada district has been a cradle for several nationalized banks which have flourished all over the country.”

Karnataka bank managing director and chief executive officer Mahabaleshwara M S said, “Karnataka bank in Bunder has built a strong connection with the public operating since 1974. Credit must go to the customers as well as the employees for the overall development of the bank. We are celebrating our centenary year in 2023. Karnataka Bank has become a customer centric bank. We have nearly 50 banks and Karnataka bank is the only bank which was never in loss in any financial year till date.”

Meanwhile, building owner Sanjeev Pai was honoured and a customers of Karnataka Bank were felicitated.

Assistant general manager regional office Hanumanthappa N welcomed the gathering, Branch manager Yuvaraj Shetty rendered the vote of thanks and Amitha compered the event.
