174 students graduate at Bengaluru SJIM’s 25th convocation

Bengaluru, May 16: St Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM) on May 14 held its 25th convocation. As many as 174 students graduated from the college. Among which, 12 students received medals and certificates from the chief guest Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot.

Delivering the Convocation address, Gehlot called upon the youths to join hands to strengthen the country and build a better society. Congratulating and complimenting the students, who were awarded degrees, and gold medals, the governor said, "I am sure that the quality of education and strong moral foundation will make your career successful and useful in making life worthwhile. New National Education Policy-2020 has been implemented, in which provision has been made to give priority to local language and sports."

Highlighting the Indian athletes who had performed at the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, he told the students that along with education and sports, they should also participate enthusiastically in cultural programmes so that they will become physically and mentally strong.
