Ajman : Scores Participate in GMU Annual Fun Run 2011

Ajman (UAE), Mar 1: Around 1000 people participated in the 2011 Annual Fun Run, the theme being ‘ Your Health Matters’ on February  25,  2011.  The event was conducted by GMC Ajman in collaboration with Body & Soul Health Club & Spa and Gulf Medical University which are Thumbay Group ventures.








The grand events of 3 Kms Family, Kids run and Special needs run and 07 Kms Fun Run was flagged off at the starting point by the Founder President of Thumbay Group Thumbay- Moideen while  Provost Professor Gita Ashok Raj distributed the prizes to various winners.  Corporate runners, doctors, students and general public participated in the auspicious event.  The Disabled and Special Needs Runners were particularly encouraged to participate in the 2011 GMC Ajman Annual Fun Run.  They were presented with prizes and participation certificates.  All the participants received a Free T Shirt and certificate of participation in the Fun Run event.

‘2011 GMC Ajman Annual Fun Run….. Your Health Matters’ was sponsored by ZO & MO Opticals, Roxx, Blends & Brews, TechnoGym, Al Rawabi, Leader Sports.  Ajman Police team were presented with a trophy and certificates for their valuable support to the entire event by ensuring traffic free tracks for the participants.
