Bengaluru: Mandir-Masjid row – Hindu organizations say 191 mosques built on state temples

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, May 30: The temple-mosque row has been spreading throughout the state. Districts like Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, Kalaburagi and Bidar are already having a tough time with accusations by Hindu organizations that the mosques are built on ancient temples.

Now, to take the claim further, the organizations have released some statistics. There is no clarity on the basis of what these numbers are arrived at. The Hindu organizations are saying that there are 191 mosques in Karnataka that are built on old temples.

According to the list, two such structures are in Bengaluru, 12 in Belagavi, nine in Ballary, 29 in Bidar, 43 in Vijayapura, one in Chikkamagalur, one in Davanagere, 23 in Dharwad, 31 in Kalaburagi, two in Kolar, two in Mandya, one in Mysuru, two in Uttara Kannada, 26 in Raichur, five in Shivamogga and three at Tumkur.

The statement given by BJP MLA Abhaya Patila that a mosque was built on the temple at Ramadeva Galli of Belagavi has created further tension between the two communities. Patila said that all the local Hindus of Belagavi feel that this mosque should be converted back to the temple.

This what Sir Winston Churchill said during India's independence. "Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles. ... A day would come when even air and water would be taxed in India.” it has become so true...

Even Hindus are ashamed of these "Hindutva" ppl and they do not endorse these views at all. All want is peace and harmony... but these so called "Protector" of H are just spreading venom every other day. Its time the majority real Hindus stand up for the minorities and put an end to such maniacs.
