Bengaluru, May 30: Karnataka on Monday, May 30 registered 166 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 2,106. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 159.
The death toll in the state has risen to 40,064.
The state recorded 101 discharges from hospitals on Monday, taking the total discharges to 39,09,693.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,51,905 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.52%, So far 10,85,78,194 people have received vaccination so far.
