Mangaluru: Grand ‘Cine Galaxy Coastal Film Awards’ on July 31

Mangaluru, May 31: (Sandy's) S Company will confer 'Cine Galaxy Coastal Film Awards 2022' on July 31 at 1 pm at Mulki Sundar Ram Shetty Convention Center, informed film producer Sandesh Bangera.

He was speaking at the press club here on Tuesday May 31.

He said, “The films of the year 2018 and 2019 will be considered for the awards. Juries will finalise the names of winning movies and names of persons. The films released on OTP will also be considered.

“The award will be presented in 27 categories. Earlier, awards were presented in 24 categories. Three categories have been added this time. Award will be given to the best film, best director, best actor, best actress, best comedian, best comedian (female), best choreographer, best negative role, best negative role (female), best-supporting actor, best child artiste, best lyrics, best editor, best cinematography, best background scorer, best art director, best stunt, best dialogue, best story, best screenplay, debut actor, debut actress, a famous movie, and lifetime achievement award.

“Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce president Ba Ma Ramesh and actor Dr Devdas Kapikad will be felicitated during the occasion,” he said.

Organisers Yashraj, Udaya Ballal, and photographer Punik were present.
