Kaup, Jun 5: A woman, resident of Pakeeranakatte of Mallaru village in the taluk has reportedly gone missing along with her toddler son from June 1.

Raisa Tabassum (26), wife of Rizwan Ahmed, a resident of Pakeeranakatte Juma Masjid vicinity and employed in Abu Dhabi and her son Izan Ahmed (2 yrs 10 months) are missing.

On the morning of June 1, Raisa Tabassum told her mother-in-law that she was going to her mother’s house at Mallaru for a few days and left along with her son.

On June 2, Tabassum’s mother called her mother-in-law and asked her to give her mobile phone to Tabassum citing that her daughter's mobile was switched off. It was then that it came to light that Tabassum had not gone to her mother’s house but was missing.

Mumtaz, mother-in-law of Tabassum, filed a complaint with Kaup police station stating that her daughter-in-law had gone missing from June 1. Further investigations are on.
