Bengaluru, Jun 5: It is said that Nagesh, who had attacked a young girl with acid and caused her serious injuries for not yielding to his proposal of love, is regretting his act and crying every now and then.
The Kamakshipalya police took Nagesh to Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu for spot inquest. As he was caught in an Ashram in Tiruvannamalai, he was taken there and an inspection was done by the cops.
In his confession given to the police, Nagesh said, “I have committed a sin. I have done an act which I cannot even think of in my dreams. I should not have done this injustice. I have poured acid because I did not want anyone else to marry her as she refused my love."
“As soon as I poured acid on the girl, I came to know about my mistake. I should be punished suitably. My elder brother had warned me not to trouble the girl. But I did not heed to his advice and tortured the girl.
“As she was speaking in a nice manner with me, I thought that she loved me. But she was not having any thoughts of that nature regarding me. I must reform myself after going through the punishment. I will never marry in my life and remain a celibate.”
