Two point gun at man who scolded them for sitting on his scooty


New Delhi, Jun 6 (IANS): Two criminals, including one member of the Hashim Baba gang, were arrested for pointing a gun at a man who scolded them for sitting on his scooty, a police official said.

Interestingly, of the two accused, the one identified as Faizan was found to be a close associate of Shahrukh, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang while the other was named Suhail.

Giving details, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Sain said an FIR was lodged under sections 307, 341, 506 and 34 IPC & 27 Arms Act on May 25 on the complaint of Md. Kasim Khan and an investigation was initiated.

During the investigation, the name of notorious criminal Salman alias JD surfaced. Besides, the involvement of Faizan alias Modal was also ascertained after scanning and analyzing the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity.

"Multiple raids were conducted by the police teams at the hideouts of the culprit. Through technical inputs, the police team zeroed in on a location in the area of Janta Colony," the DCP said. Acting on a tip-off received on June 3, the police conducted a raid and arrested Faizan, a resident of Matke Wali Gali in Jafrabaad, Delhi.

On sustained interrogation, the accused confessed that he along with Salman and some other friends threatened Kasim Khan at gunpoint and after that they handed over the pistol to Salman aka JD. On Faizan's instance another raid was conducted and another accused Sohail was arrested.
