Mangaluru, Jun 10: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering jointly organized the International Conference on Technology for Industry 4.0 Revolution on June 8 and 9. The inaugural function of the 'International Conference on Technology for Industry 4.0 Revolution (ICTIR - 2022)' was held on June 8 in the Seminar Hall.
Dr A Srinivas Rao, vice president, A Shama Rao Foundation, pro-chancellor Srinivas University, Mangaluru was the president of the function and inaugurated by lighting the lamp. He told the participants that a blend of Electronics and Electrical Engineering has a lot of scope in future technology, especially in healthcare products.
The chief guest of the function was Dr Shubhakar Kalya, faculty from Singapore University of Technology and Design. He told the students should know the trending technology in Industry. Dr Soorya Krishna K, HOD, ECE, welcomed the guests and gave a brief overview of ICTIR. Professor Lokesh introduced the chief guest. Marina Chandy and Sahana Girish were the MC of the programme. At the conference, 40 papers were presented from different engineering colleges.
