Mumbai: Vasanthi A Saliankar(97) passes away

Mumbai, Jun 11: Vasanthi Saliankar (97), former president and activist of Billavara association Mumbai Bala Vikasana subcommittee, social worker passed away on June 10. She was the resident of Santacruz west, Mumbai and the wife of Mangaluru Attavar resident late Achyuth Saliankar.

She was a Sai devotee and was active in social and religious programmes.

She has left behind two sons and two daughters. Billavara association president Harish G Ameen and executive committee members have condoled her death.
