Mangaluru: Sri Bhuvanendra College Karkala organizes heart disease awareness programme

Mangaluru, Jun 15: "Love and affection of the parents towards their children should not make children lazy. Our lifestyle is the main cause for the mental and physical illness," said Dr Manjunath A Kotian, principal Sri Bhuvanendra College Karkala.

He was speaking at the heart disease awareness programme organised by NSS Unit of Sri Bhuvanendra College in association with Make Someone Smile NGO.

Dr Ananth Kamath of Amarjyothi clinic speaking on the occasion said, "To maintain a healthy life we need to stop consuming junk and unhealthy foods. Yoga, Pranayama will help to have control on our mind and body."

Dr Meghana Reddy explained about the first aid treatment to be undertaken during the heart attack.

Guruprasad Shetty, Suchithra, NSS officer Nimitha Kini, secretary Ganesh Bhat were present on the occasion. Ganesh compered the program Trupthi welcomed the gathering Adithi proposed vote of thanks.
