Mangalore, Mar 13: Kadri Park will host the annual flower show that attracts thousands on March 19 and 20.

The show is unique in the sense the public is allowed to take part in the show. The general public and farmers in particular can take part in the show. They can bring along various varieties of flower plants including that of ornamental plants.

The best exhibited flowers will also be awarded. Assistant agriculture director has asked the interested to be present with their items at the venue on March 19.

    Good that you are organizing the flower shows and I wonder after looking at the maintenance of the park what is the budget kept for its maintenance? even if they spend 5% for this they can maintain better than this. Is anyone is there to gothrough the accounts to see the reality. People are going there there is no place in mangalore to visit rather than the existence of this park. Hats off to you officers, eat the govt money in some dignity, otherwise it will not digest properly. Great going Mangalore and its really a great developing city no doubt but I am doubting growing is not the city the pockets.
