Mangaluru: Ladyhill Victoria High School holds investiture ceremony

Mangaluru, Jun 18: The investiture ceremony for the new academic year was held at Ladyhill Victoria High School on June 15. The joint secretary of Ladyhill Institutes, Sr Violette was the chief guest for the ceremony.

The school cabinet leaders marched forward to dais with the dignitaries accompanied by the school band.

The ceremony began at 9.00 am by lighting the lamp by the chief guest Sr Violette Tauro joint secretary, headmistress Sr Ujvala, assistant headmistress Sr Pushpa, Irene and Clementine followed by a prayer song thus invoking gods blessings.

The gathering was welcomed by the headmistress Sr Ujvala. A floral welcome was given to the chief guest by Clementine. This was proceeded by the oath taking ceremony. Where in headmistress administered the oath of office to the council of ministers. The student council along with the SPL Simone Dsouza, ASPL Caren Kathryn and speaker Chrisel Lobo pledged and promised to maintain discipline, uphold honour and fame of the school.

The chief guest and headmistress conferred the sashes and badges to all the members of the student council. Sr Violette AC joint secretary addresses the gathering. In her speech she said that qualities required for a great leader like service minded, love, understanding care must be cultivated and wished good luck for the new budding leaders. The ceremony concluded by expressing gratitude to everyone by the SPL. Chief guest, headmistress, teachers blessed and wished good luck for the new team. The programme was compered by Prathibha and Sathvi Shetty of Class 10.
