Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College observes International Yoga Day

Mangaluru, Jun 22: Yoga is the music dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and harmony. On June 21, along with the rest of the world, International Yoga Day was observed at St Agnes PU College. The participants comprised of NCC Cadets (Army and Airwing) of St Agnes PU College and St Agnes College (Autonomous). The chief guest for the event Sr Norine D'Souza AC, principal, St Agnes PU College who spoke on the importance of yoga to maintain a healthy body and mind.

Lt Gayathri B K, ANO, Army Wing, Flying Officer Dr Hitakshi, ANO Airwing andSneha, NCC Staff in charge PUC were present on the dais. While this event took place in the Conference Hall the other PU Students assembled in the Auditorium and celebrated the significance of the day through the help of their physical director – Jayashree, who performed various asanas and briefed them about the benefits of yoga in their life.
