Palghar: Aldel Education Trust’s St John Junior College excelled in HSC Board 2022 with 100% Results

Palghar, Jun 23: In the recently declared Maharashtra HSC State Board results, St. John Junior College secured 100% result in all the three streams – Science, Commerce and Arts. Total 198 students appeared for the HSC Board examination from the College. Sanket Sonavane secured First Rank with 85.83% in Science, Arya Gajra Secured First Rank with 89.17% in Commerce and Prity Bhagat secured first Rank with 87.00% in Arts.

To acknowledge and honour the students for their outstanding academic performance, St John Junior College arranged a felicitation ceremony in which toppers from each stream were honoured. Chairman of the Trust Albert W D’Souza was present on the occasion. Secretary of Trust Elvina D’Souza, Treasurer Elaine Buthello and Trustee Aldridge D’Souza also joined in the celebration.

Chairman of the Trust Albert W D’Souza honoured Sanket Sonavane, Arya Gajra and Prity Bhagat. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said it is a proud moment for the Junior College to reward the toppers of all the streams and achieve remarkable results in the Board Examination which is adding new feathers to the crown of the College. He said the College prepared all the students for Board Examination during Covid-19 pandemic through Regular online and offline classes. He appreciated the efforts of principal Suchita Gharat and her team for having given Individual attention to each and every student due to which College could get excellent results in the offline final examination.

The function was attended by principal of St John College of Engineering & Management Dr Gopal V Mulgund, principal of St. John Institute of Pharmacy & Research Dr. Savita Tauro, principal of St John College of Humanities & Sciences Dr Brijbandhu Das, principal of St John International School Sister Veena Monteiro Campus General Manager Satheesh Shetty, HR Manager Sudhir Babu Campus Manager Cornelius Pereira, Administrations of all the Institutes of the Campus and parents of all the achievers.

Principal Suchita Gharat thanked the Trustees and Senior Management Team for extending wonderful support throughout the year which made it possible to give such a performance. She also thanked the parents and the students for making the Junior college feel proud.
