Mangaluru: 18th graduation ceremony of Yenepoya Medical College held

Mangaluru, Jun 27: The 18th graduation ceremony of Yenepoya Medical College held at Yendurance Zone, Yenepoya Deemed to be University campus on June 25.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Rajendra K V, deputy commissioner, Dakshina Kannada district. In his chief guest address he said, “There is no end to learning in medical life. Performance can make us memorable forever. It is very important to treat patients in a humane manner.”

Dr Venkatagiri K M, senior consultant physician at Kasargod Government Hospital was the guest honour. He said, “The society will recognize you if you follow the practice of graduate doctors.”

Dr Moosabba, dean of Yenepoya Medical College presided over the function.

As many as 150 student graduates received their certificates. Sai Bhargava received 7 gold nmedals with the outstanding student award. Associate dean Dr Abhay Nirgude and Dr Aswini Dutt were present on the dais. Dr Raghavendra and Dr Grrishma hosted the event. Dr Poonam Naik welcomed the gathering and Dr Sheetal Savoor rendered the vote of thanks.
