Mangaluru: Investiture ceremony held at St Anns PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 30: The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 was held on theThursday, June 30.

The college cabinet escorted the principal Sr Marilda AC and vice principal Anil Noronha into the auditorium by marching to the beats of the band.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a prayer service by the students of second PUC.

A welcome dance was performed by the students of First year which held everyone captive. A power point on leadership qualities was presented to inspire the newly nominated cabinet. Investiture ceremony began with handing over of the College Flag to the college student leader by the Principal.

The principal then, administered the oath and adorned the cabinet members with badges and sashes. In her address the principal explained what leadership means and urged the student leaders to be impartial, honest in their leadership, unity and discipline.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ainam Mansia, CSL of the College followed by the college anthem. The programme was compered by Andrea Noronha of First Science.
