Mangalore: New CD Released at Jeppu Seminary During St Joseph's Feast

Mangalore, Mar 19: St Joseph Feast, the feast of patron saint of St Josephs’ Inter diocesan seminary celebrated on Saturday March 19.

Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the Bishop of Mangalore presided over the Eucharist. About 50 priests concelebrated the Mass. After the Eucharist the Murdoms of the feast were honored by the Bishop. Rudof and Sharon Saldanha of Valencia and Melwin and Helen Castelino of Valencia Parish were the Murdoms for the feast.

Dr Baptist Menezes the resident staff of the Seminary was felicitated and honoured by draping the shawl and garlanding by the Bishop for completing his Doctoral Thesis on Spirituality.

In order to help the Seminary project an audio CD composed and directed by Frs Valerian Mendonca and Clement Mascarehas was released by the president. They were felicitated for their contribution and generosity. ‘San Juzecha Metani’ is a audio Cd, dedicated to the Seminary in honor of St Joseph, the amount of which will be for the Seminary project. The entire staff and students will remain grateful to them for their thought fullness.

Bishop Dr Aloysius delivered His message. Fr Rector Joseph Martis thanked all the members who were instrumental for the organization of this feast.

I HEARD THIS NEW, MELODIOUS AND DEVOTION INVOKING CD, WHICH WILL BE BOUGHT BY ALL THE KONKANI SPEAKING CHRISTIANS. THIS CD IS DEDICATED TO ST JOSEPH. THE VERY FIRST HYMN DEDICATED TO ST JOSEPH IS HEART TOUCHING AND MELODIOUS, ALSO ALL THE HYMNS. MAY EVERY CATHOLIC FAMILY BUY THIS CD AND USE IT IN THE MORNING AND EVENING TO GET A PRAYERFUL ATMOSPHERE ALSO TO FEEL THE PRESENCE OF GOD. THE AMOUNT WILL GO TO THE EDUCATION OF THE SEMINARIANS. GOOD CAUSE AND OUR PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS BACK UP SUCH GENUINE CAUSE. MAY EVERY FAMILY BUY THIS NEW CD ‘San Juzecha Metani’ AND SUPPORT FOR THE NOBLE CAUSE?
