Mumbai: Chembur Karnataka school bags ‘Swatcha Bharatha Swatcha Vidyalaya’ award

Mumbai, Jun 30: Chembur Karnataka school run by Chembur Karnataka Sangha has received ‘Swatcha Bharatha Swatcha Vidyalaya’ award for the year 2021-22 from the department of education and literacy committee, ministry of education as part of India’s platinum jubilee.

More than 1,000 educational institutes took part in the competitions. The school was included in the 300 schools selected on district level and among seven schools selected with five star rating in the district level sub group.

The award programme was held at Blossom English School, New Marine Lines last Thursday. CKS school headmistress Dr Geetanjali Salian received the certificate and panels from Maharashtra state primary school division deputy director S Jagatap.
