Mangalore, Mar 24: Under the aegis of the department of youth services and sports, summer training camp is being organized in the city for the year 2011. Interested sportspersons have been requested to register themselves with the trainers who will be at the venues concerned.
Saraswati Putran, trainer in weight lifting, will provide training in weight lifting skills at U Srinivas Mallya Indoor Stadium in the city from March 21 to April 11, 2011.
Vasant Kumar will impart athletics training from March 21 to April 11 at Mangala Stadium and St Aloysius High School, Urwa, Mangalore.
A C Dinamani will train interested persons in hockey from March 21 to April 11 at Mangala Stadium and St Aloysius High School, Urwa, Mangalore, said assistant director in the department of youth services and sports, through a release.
