Doha, March 26: Advanced Technical Services (ATS) held their Fourth annual day celebration at the Al Ghazal Club Doha on Friday March 25 at 4.00 pm.

The event is organized and sponsored by the managing director of ATS Ravi Shetty, and is exclusively meant for the employees to encourage and exhibit their talent on stage.

Opening address was given by Ashwath an electrical engineer at ATS. He introduced the master of ceremony of the evening, Madhu from Mangalore. She is a well known voiceover artist, writer and journalist, who holds a masters degree in mass communications. Throughout the evening she kept the audience actively engaged with high spirits.

All employees were wearing white ATS logo shirts and blue pant which is the dress code of the gathering. This is a very unique celebration held by Indian expatriate

Evening began with the lighting of the lamp by Jyothi Shetty, Nirmala Subramanian, Chandrakala, Bincy Sojan, Chaithali Shetty and Sharmila Srikanth.

A welcome skit based on the theme Fagun a season of colour and fun which brings people together from all age groups and across different sections was played. ATS group came together and welcomed all with colours. The actors were Mahesh Bolar, Kamalaksha Salian, Jay Kumar Pandi, Prasad, Vijaykumar Rai, Praveen Shetty, Kishan Rai Madaka, Subramanaya Santyar,C hanrashekar, Deekshith Kumar Shetty and Purandara Gowda. This was followed by a beautiful Pyramid Show by Rajesh Shetty, Shivakumar Rai, Chellanchamy Anguchamy, Ashok Kumar Moodambail, Harish Rai Talapady, Arosh Jain, Mahesh Poojary and Pushparaj Manchi.

Malayalam song was sung by Vimal Satayan followed by a Tamil song by Ashwath. The crowd was entertained by Subramanaya and Janardhan Moolaya with a tulu skit “Special Tea”.

Guest artists from Mangalore Ranjandas and Jyothsna kept the evening lively by singing songs in Kannada, Tulu, Malayalam and Hindi. Ranjandas has performed in a number of music concerts in India and abroad. Jyotsna Puthram a BA in Carnatic music and bharatanatyam has performed in local TV channels in Mangalore and various music concerts in India. They entertained the crowd with numbers like Zoobi Zoobi, Dingri Mama, Aaj Kal Terey mwrey, Wada mapla, shela ki jawani and waka waka.

Expression through dance and song, are the medium of fun but there was something which was stirred up without any sound. A mime show was performed by Sunil Rai, Shivakumar Rai, Purandara Gowda, Janardhan Moolya, Raghavendra Salian, Deekshith Kumar Shetty, Mahesh Poojary, Pushparaj Manchi, Arosh Jain, Chellachamy Anguchamy, Hemanth Shetty, Subrahmanya Santyar, Jaykumar Pandi and Vijay Kumar Rai Kunjady.

At the end of every hour a lucky draw was conducted for the guests as well as employes separately and gifts were given away by the organizer.

Malayalam Skit "Kuda Muttathu Kuthiya Kathanar" was performed by Sajith Pandikayil, Harindranath Nair, Vimal Sathyan, Rahul Balan, Vinoth, Lokesh Pongera, Binu Paulson, Manosh Ramakrishnan and Verghese Joseph.

Nepali music culture is embedded in the high peak of Himalayan Kingdom-Nepal.m People celebrate every moment with rhythm, beats and bounce in their traditional folk dance with special music. Song was sung by Maniprasad, Baluram Acharya, Arun Pun, Yam Thada, Krishna Mogar, Nethra Bahadur, Rajan Sunuwar, Bal Bahadur, Abhisher Rai and Janak Bahadur

As soon as we hear India a fabric of different colors and festivals of different states come to our mind. Continuing with the theme of colours there was a walk through the memory lanes of states with a glimpse was performed by Sunil Rai, Vijaykumar Rai Kunjady, Chellachamy, Janardhan Moolya, Suresh, Vijay Kumar Rai Kumbra, Kamalaksha Salian, Kishan Rai, Mahesh Bolar, Jaykumar Pandi, Subrahmanya Santyar, Praveen Shetty, Deekshith Kumar Shetty, Arosh Jain, Chandrahsekar, Pushparaj Manchi, Raghavendra Salian, Mahesh Poojary, Prasad, Jaykumar Pandi, Hemanth Shetty, Rajesh Shetty, Shivakumar Rai and Purandara Gowda.

ATS Employee awards were bagged by Hameed, Santhosh Thankappan, Rahul Sharma, Kawdoor Rajesh Shetty, Chandrasekhar, Jagadesa Chandra Bose, Prakash Shetty Maira, Rajesh Kumar Pillai, hivaprasad, Balu Rama Acharya, Jayaraj Kulshekar, Uddav Rana Magar and Shathrohan Mahato.

Company M.D Ravi Shetty addressed the gathering on the occasion and praised his staff and employees especially who bagged the best employee awards and mentioned that it was the dedication and hard work of his staff that helped the company to new heights. He requested all his staff to keep away from the bad habits such as smoking and consuming alcohol which destroys oneself and also his family and also one needs to keep in mind the sacrifice he makes by leaving his family back in their home country. He gave details about the upcoming projects relating to the development of country and the role of ATS in this.

"Kuletha Badavu" Tulu lingual skit, showcasing that superstition is part and parcel of our life & it seems no education can shake the belief and the quacks enjoy the hidden truth in these superstitions. This made the audience mock to some of their own life incidents. This was enacted by Vijay Kumar Rai Kumbra,Subrahmanya Santyar, Shivakumar Rai, Harish Rai Talapady, Raghavendra Salian and Deekshith Kumar Shetty.

"Naadan Paatt" a play in Malayalam was enacted by Sajith Pandikayil, Harindranath Nair, Vimal Sathyan, Rahul Balan,Vinoth, Lokesh Pongera, Binu Paulson, Manosh Ramakrishnan and Verghese Joseph.

This was followed by the felicitation ceremony. Ranjandas was felicitated by Milan Arun, Jyothsna by Iqbal Manna, Madhu M by Dinesh Shetty and Kishor by Alexis Castelino. This event was anchored by Ashwath.

Hindi Skit - 200 years of bondage and slavery and then a historical / non violent  freedom was enacted. Freedom which has set an example towards many revolutions, For us Indians it is a matter of pride and its important to have the reminescenses of the same. So lets salute the journey of freedom movement was the message given through the Hindi skit “Swathanthratha Sangram Ki Jhalkiyan”. Actors were Bava Kassim, Shivakumar Rai, Vijay Kumar Rai Kunjady, Rajesh Shetty, Pushparaj Shetty, Harish Rai Talapady, Subrahmanya Santyar, Mahesh Bolar, Chandrashekar, Pushparaj Manchi, Vijay Kumar Rai Kumbra, Kamalaksha Salian, Nithyanand Shetty, Kishan Rai,Sappani Muthu,Chellachamy and Mahesh Poojary.

Mementoes were distributed by the managing director Ravi Shetty to all the participants.

More than 600 people took part in this celebration which included employees of ATS and their family. Other family guests included prominent members of the various communities ICBF secretary Divakar Poojary, KSQ president Arun Kumar, head of in-house activities at ICC Milan Arun, Tulu Koota former president Prakash Ajila. HR Manjunath.Prakash Rao, Chidanand Naik, and SKMWA president Abdulla Monu were
Present.
 
Gifts were given to all participants and prizes were distributed to all the lucky winners. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ashwath.

Ravi Shetty, the managing director of 'Advanced Technical Services', is well known among the Indian Expatriate Community in Qatar. More than 400 employees working under his organization most of them from Karnataka and neighboruring states.

An active social worker and the past president of Tulu Koota Qatar, hailing from Donienjaguthu family in Mangalore taluk in Karnataka, Shetty was born and brought up at Moodambail in Bantwal. He is a bachelor of mechanical engineering with a MBA Degree. This down to earth and humble man Shetty began his career in Gulf at MECON, a major EPC contractors in Qatar and later started his own company in Qatar, Advanced Technical Services in 2006.

    Congratulations to Mr.Ravi Shetty, his family and ATS employees for celebrating ATS 4th anniversary. It was an extraordinary cultural programme with unique boss who celebrated the success and journey of ATS along with his employees and family, where most of the talented artists exhibited their talents in professional way. It was a festival for eyes to see the excellent program from all for 6 hours! Opening holi dance was super, guest singers were outstanding with their melodious voices and varieties of skits were too good. My sincere wishes to Mr.Ravi Shetty and to ATS, let this organization may grow higher than today and may God bless them all with good health and success.
