Bantwal: Collision between pickup, scooter - Pillion rider seriously injured

Bantwal, Jul 15: A pillion rider got severely injured after a pickup vehicle transporting gas cylinders collided with a scooter in which he was travelling along with his brother on Friday July 15.

The injured are Sanjay Shetty, a resident of Vamadapadavu and a college student who is admitted to hospital. His brother Sandeep Shetty who was riding the vehicle, escaped with minor injuries.

Sandeep was taking his younger brother Sanjay Shetty to college while the accident took place. Sanjay received head injury in the collision.

Punjalakatte SI Suthesh visited the spot and investigated further.
