Mangaluru, Jul 16: The Valedictory programme of the year 2022 of St Agnes College (Autonomous) was held on July 14, at the Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium. The final year students of the post graduate and under graduate classes were ushered in ceremoniously, led by the college band, principal, deans, registrar and the college cabinet.

The theme of the programme was “To Serve with Love”. The programme included a prayer song, welcome dance, a Kannada skit titled “Hasivu” and a farewell song, all of which emphasised on the need to use their learning and skills for the benefit of humanity and to serve every purpose with love.

The highlight of the programme was the principal’s message where she urged the students to adhere to the principles inculcated by them in the college. She prayed for their wellbeing and wished for them a fruitful future. She ended by emphasizing the need to give to society and quoted from the scriptures to convey the same.

The undergraduate cabinet of 2021-2022 offered a parting gift, a guitar, to the college.
